COMMUNITY CONSULTATION ON LEASE

Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council

Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council, as trustee of the Mapoon Deed of Grant in Trust (“DOGIT”), has received an expression of interest for the grant of a lease on Council-held DOGIT land.

Council seeks community feedback on the grant of the following leases:

 Zharni Crossley Proposed Lot 1563 on Lot 156 on SP 313351, located on Cullen Point Road, with an area of 3,114 m2(land only)  99 years  99-year home ownership lease

Plans showing the area being applied for are available from Council’s offices or by contacting isaxon@prestonlaw.com.au.

Feedback to the above EOIs may be given in writing, and delivered to Council’s offices in person (at Council’s Chambers, Red Beach Road, Mapoon Qld 4874), by post (c/- Preston Law, PO Box 707N, North Cairns Qld 4870) or by email (at isaxon@prestonlaw.com.au).

Council will only consider feedback if it is made to Council by no later than 5pm, 31 July 2025
