Works occurring:
Council is turning off water during the day to allow a sluice valve to be installed.
Why?
The installation of the sluice valve will allow further works to occur on the network without shutting down off the whole network.
Will other works be required?
Once the sluice valve has been installed, repair work will be undertaken on the Cullen Point mains. Some houses will be affected but the main network will remain the same.
How long will these works take?
Council will be shutting off the water from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday the 31st of March 2026.
