Fishing at Cullen Point
If you are keen on fishing you will enjoy the fishing up at Cullen Point. There a plenty of different breeds regularly being caught by locals and visitors such as Grunter, Salmon, Queenfish, Jacks, Jewfish at Cullen Point. Also quietly walking the bank you may spot Jacks, Bream and Barra.
Great camping sites are provided by the Mapoon council at Cullen Point

Boat Ramp at Cullen Point
A boat will give you more opportunities to explore the open water and local creeks.
Janie creek and the river mouth never seems to disappoint with its clear water and great fishing.
CAUTION: Crocodiles and marine stingers are present in this area so please be aware and exercise caution at all times.
