Our Vision

Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council is a fully constituted and elected Aboriginal Shire Council under the Local Government Act 2009 and identified in the Local Government Regulations 2012 – Schedule 2.  MASC is an elected body that is responsible for the good rule and local government of a part of Queensland.  This plan acknowledges the commitment and support of all community members and previous Council members.

The Mapoon Aboriginal Shire Council’s Corporate Plan 2020 – 2024 Vision, Purpose, Values and Pathway are key components of the Community Safety Plan providing input for the initial development and continuous evolution of the CSP.
